About the role#
This 10-week internship program runs from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027. You will join the Finance Business Analytics team to work on projects that support U.S. housing finance. The role includes seminar-style training on business information and technical skills, including SQL, R, and data platforms like Redshift and Domino Data Lab.
What you'll do#
- Research open-ended questions and use data to produce insights.
- Provide consultative services to extend credit risk management capabilities.
- Identify and develop technical improvements and business process automation for Credit expense forecasting.
- Perform business analytics to develop functional requirements and testing for model and financial analytics.
- Use AI to perform analysis, construct business process improvements, and develop technical enhancements.
What you'll need#
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with an expected graduation date of Spring 2028.
- Preferred majors include Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Strong analytical background with demonstrated research and problem-solving skills.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Washington, D.C. at the Midtown Center office.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a set hourly rate of $41.50 per hour.
- Participants may be eligible for benefits including commuter benefits and a 401(k) plan.
