About the role#
This 10-week summer internship program runs from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027. You will join a team of technology professionals to work on projects that support U.S. housing finance. Depending on your background and placement, you may focus on software engineering, DevOps, data engineering, or technology infrastructure. You will gain hands-on experience while collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the design, development, testing, and implementation of software and technology solutions.
- Support production applications by troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing software.
- Create scalable, automated solutions to support business needs.
- Gather and evaluate user feedback to improve processes.
- Manage data platforms and tools, monitor production logs, and analyze data to determine root causes.
- Use emerging technologies and artificial intelligence to enhance productivity and drive innovation.
What you'll need#
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Current enrollment as a Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Cybersecurity major.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Understanding of software development and programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C++, or Python.
- Knowledge of AWS or cloud computing environments.
- Ability to write code and work in a test-driven environment.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site role based in either Reston, Virginia, or Plano, Texas.
- The pay rate for this position is $41.50 per hour.
