About the role#
ExxonMobil Global Trading offers a development track for early career professionals interested in the energy markets. This program provides hands-on experience through rotations, structured learning, and mentorship. You will work on global trading desks for oil, natural gas, and energy products to build your commercial and analytical capabilities.
What you'll do#
- Perform fundamental market analysis for commodities using proprietary and third-party data.
- Develop actionable market insights to support trading decisions and research.
- Enhance decision-making across energy trading desks by delivering data analytics and visualization.
- Participate in Trading Data, Analytics and AI initiatives, including data engineering and software development.
- Complete multiple trading role rotations to gain experience in operations, risk, and analytics.
What you'll need#
- Graduation in 2026 or 2027, or graduation within the last three years.
- Strong academic performance in disciplines such as Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Statistics.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical problem-solving skills.
- An interest in physical commodities and financial markets.
- Demonstrated leadership capability.
- Ability to work effectively in an international team environment.
