About the role#
ExxonMobil is seeking PhD students for internship and co-op opportunities during the Summer and Fall of 2026. These full-time, paid positions offer hands-on technical and research experience within our operations or research facilities. You will engage in meaningful projects while building professional relationships across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to advanced research initiatives and assist in process engineering tasks.
- Participate in product development projects.
- Engage in modeling and optimization work.
- Tour facilities and network with senior leaders and experienced professionals.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a PhD in a STEM discipline, including Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
- Strong academic performance.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A willingness to contribute to meaningful work.
