About the role#
As an intern in the bridge and structural engineering team at EXP, you will join our design group to contribute to engineering projects. You will work on-site in Laval and gain practical experience through active participation in our mandates.
What you'll do#
- Design simple structural elements.
- Develop new design tools.
- Prepare feasibility studies and preliminary project reports.
- Create asset maintenance plans for various structures.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including plans, specifications, cost estimates, and quantity calculations.
- Support field inspections, special transport mandates, and construction surveillance tasks as opportunities arise.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's program in civil engineering.
- An AEC or DEC in civil engineering is an asset.
- A responsible, autonomous, and rigorous approach to your work.
- A strong desire to learn and grow within the team.
