About the role#
We are looking for a Mechanical Intern to join our team in Maitland, Florida. You will support our mechanical team on various hospitality and entertainment projects. This is a part-time position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineers to complete project tasks on time.
- Create drawings from engineer markups using REVIT.
- Run HVAC load calculation software.
- Research technical codes, standards, and references to support engineering work.
- Complete handwritten calculations and other manual engineering assignments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as at least a sophomore in an accredited Bachelor degree program for Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
- Familiarity with CAD or 3-D software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to solve engineering problems and communicate ideas clearly.
- Interest in the HVAC consulting industry.
- Strong organizational skills and a self-starting attitude.
- Ability to work well with colleagues.
