About the role#
As a college intern for the Fall 2026 term, you will work under the supervision of the laboratory director in Trois-Rivières. You will focus on the quality control of materials, including fresh concrete, bituminous mixes, and granular foundations. This role involves both field work and administrative tasks to ensure project requirements are met.
What you'll do#
- Perform material control on construction sites, including monitoring placement and verifying material characteristics against standards.
- Collect and sample materials for testing.
- Process field data to write daily reports.
- Complete assigned tasks and mandates according to project schedules and technical requirements.
- Conduct various material tests in the laboratory.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an AEC or DEC program in civil engineering or construction engineering.
- Valid ASP Construction card.
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
- Ability to lift loads between 20 and 25 kg.
- Autonomous and detail-oriented work habits.
