About the role#
The Administrative Fellowship is a preceptor-directed program designed to bridge the gap between academic study and the management of healthcare organizations. This full-time, paid fellowship lasts one year and helps individuals transition into the healthcare profession. The program runs from July 2027 through July 2028.
What you'll do#
You will work alongside senior leaders to gain hands-on experience in several areas of the organization. Your work will include:
- Assisting with the transition from academic knowledge to professional practice.
- Engaging in strategic planning and daily operations.
- Participating in business development and new ventures.
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives.
- Exploring leadership experiences in departments such as finance, human resources, clinical operations, and information systems.
What you'll need#
- A Masters of Healthcare Administration or a Masters of Business Administration degree.
- No specific certification or licensure is required for this role.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Fargo, North Dakota, Duluth, Minnesota, or Brainerd, Minnesota.
- The fellowship is a full-time commitment.
