About the role#
Essentia Health is hiring a Pharmacy Intern for a part-time role based in Duluth, Minnesota. This position offers an opportunity to gain clinical experience in a hospital setting while working under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Perform clinical duties within the pharmacy department.
- Fill prescriptions and prepare unit dose medications.
- Create non-sterile compounds according to 795 standards.
- Assist with inventory management tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited Pharmacy program.
- Valid Pharmacy Intern license through the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or the ability to obtain it within 3 months of hire.
