About the role#
Essentia Health offers an Education to Employment program for current nursing students. This role provides clinical experience in ambulatory and home care settings. You will receive financial support in exchange for a two-year work commitment upon graduation. This position is full-time with a standard schedule of 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with no weekend or holiday rotations required for most clinic roles.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct patient care in ambulatory or home care settings.
- Assist RNs, physicians, and other providers with clinical tasks.
- Perform procedures for which you have demonstrated competency.
- Care for patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited LPN program.
- A North Dakota LPN license upon hire.
- A Minnesota LPN license within 3 months of hire.
- AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
