About the role#
Essentia Health is looking for surgical technologist students to join our surgery department at the 32nd Avenue hospital in Fargo. This program includes an educational assistance benefit of $20,000 in exchange for a two-year work commitment after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical interventions in the Operating Room for patients of all ages under the supervision of an RN.
- Manage instrumentation, equipment, prosthesis, and supplies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the department.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
- Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) registration with the North Dakota Board of Nursing upon hire.
- AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month of hire.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist within one year of hire.
Location & details#
- Location: Fargo, North Dakota.
- Role type: Full-time, on-site.
- Shift: Day rotation, 6:30 am start time.
- Requirements: Includes on-call shifts, holiday work, and a call obligation.
