About the role#
We are looking for an Intern to join our Fleet Allocation team at our headquarters in Columbia, Missouri. This is a full-time, paid internship that offers a chance to gain hands-on experience in construction operations. You will support our fleet management efforts by coordinating with branches and manufacturers to keep our equipment inventory accurate and available.
What you'll do#
- Follow up daily with local branches and manufacturers to ensure attachments are received and serialized.
- Collaborate with Regional Fleet Managers to maintain inventory levels and vet new opportunities.
- Allocate equipment from open orders to specific branch locations.
- Coordinate logistics for shipments with suppliers and verify order accuracy.
- Respond to requests from local and regional teams for new fleet assets.
- Build and maintain relationships with both new and existing manufacturers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a college program, ideally studying Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- A strong drive to get work done and the ability to make intelligent, independent decisions.
- Proficiency with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- An interest in data analytics and using data to guide business decisions.
- Previous internship experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of the construction or agricultural industries is helpful.
