About the role#
We are looking for a student to join our Uptime Management Center in Columbia, Missouri. This internship offers the chance to work with telematics and equipment performance data to help improve maintenance strategies. You will support our team by analyzing trends and maintaining the reports used by leadership and operations.
What you'll do#
- Monitor telematics and equipment performance data.
- Analyze uptime and downtime trends.
- Maintain dashboards and recurring reports for the operations team.
- Perform data cleaning, validation, and quality checks.
- Identify patterns or anomalies that indicate maintenance needs.
- Support predictive and preventive maintenance analytics initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
- Experience with Python or R through coursework or projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
- Ability to work with large datasets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- SQL skills or a willingness to learn.
- Interest in predictive analytics or reliability engineering.
- Experience with data visualization tools is preferred.
- Exposure to operations, manufacturing, or fleet management is a plus.

- Location: Columbia, MO (Headquarters).
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
- This is a paid, full-time internship position.
