About the role#
This internship is a 10 to 12 week program designed to provide hands-on experience in equipment sales operations, order management, and process improvement. You will join the Fleet Sales team at the EquipmentShare home office to support corporate sales functions and complete a capstone project focused on evaluating the current quote-to-order workflow.
What you'll do#
- Type new equipment retail quotes based on provided information.
- Maintain and update the Monday.com order board to ensure accurate documentation.
- Track orders from the initial quote through the ordering process.
- Communicate order updates, questions, and outstanding items to sales representatives.
- Identify bottlenecks in the quote-to-order workflow and recommend improvements.
- Develop standardized checklists for quotes and orders to improve accuracy.
- Create a system for tracking outstanding information and follow-ups.
- Evaluate the current new equipment quote-to-order process as a capstone project.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a college program, preferably in Business Administration or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in quoting and order entry.
- Excellent organization and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Professional written communication skills for corresponding with internal teams.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn internal systems quickly.
- Experience or comfort working in Monday.com or similar project management platforms.
