About the role#
EquipmentShare is seeking a Fleet Allocation Specialist Intern to join the team at the corporate headquarters in Columbia, Missouri. This role focuses on managing equipment inventory, coordinating with manufacturers, and supporting branch operations through data-driven logistics. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Allocate equipment from open orders to specific branch locations to support organic growth and new branch openings.
- Coordinate logistics with suppliers to ensure shipment accuracy and verify that attachments are received and serialized.
- Respond to requests from local and regional teams regarding new fleet needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with both new and existing equipment manufacturers.
- Collaborate with Regional Fleet Managers and local branches to maintain optimal inventory levels and vet new opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college program, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Science, or Agriculture.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- A strong drive to solve problems and make informed decisions.
- An interest in data analytics and how data supports business operations.
- Knowledge of the construction industry.
- Ability to perform desk-based computer work for extended periods.
