About the role#
Emerson is seeking a Test Engineering Intern to join our team in Boulder, Colorado. You will focus on designing and implementing software test systems to verify and validate safety-critical measurement and analytical instrumentation that integrates with industrial automation equipment.
What you'll do#
- Design and implement automated tests and test infrastructure.
- Participate in reviews of product requirements, test designs, and implementations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve engineering challenges and provide analysis for change requests.
- Support manufacturing test systems by working with global manufacturing teams to solve issues and maintain test stations.
- Create hardware that is robust with simple and functional user interfaces.
- Develop and maintain supporting documentation, such as service manuals and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide technical support for test stations.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) in-person.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
