About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in supplier performance and quality engineering. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve material review processes and enhance production part approval procedures. This role is based in Houston, Texas, and requires full-time, on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Manage incoming inspections and provide expert guidance to manufacturing sites.
- Collaborate with design engineers and suppliers to ensure technical specifications are met.
- Develop and maintain inspection plans, material verification methods, and quality control procedures.
- Support enhancements to the material review and production part approval processes.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, commodity teams, operations, and engineering teams.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) in-person.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
