About the role#
As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will join a team focused on developing solutions for production operations. You will work to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics while collaborating with functional groups, vendors, and customers to support manufacturing goals.
What you'll do#
- Apply technical expertise to product manufacturing.
- Select, design, and recommend tools, fixtures, and equipment.
- Develop and update manufacturing processes to reduce costs and solve production issues.
- Recommend design changes to improve product quality.
- Support capacity models and lean initiatives, including participation in improvement teams.
- Present test results and participate in design reviews.
- Manage technical procedures and implement engineering change authorizations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) in an on-site capacity.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Zero years of related experience is required.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
