    About the role#

    The Lab Operations Engineer Co-op assists the Test & Evaluation Department at the Emerson Innovation Center. You will apply engineering methods to the upkeep, system expansion planning, and equipment health analyses of various pressure, temperature, and flow systems.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform analyses to determine desired maintenance parts inventory for critical operational equipment.
    • Interface with equipment vendors to obtain service recommendations, parts lists, and quotations.
    • Oversee database development projects, including parts inventory, pipe databases, and warehouse inventory management.
    • Assist with lab improvement projects focused on safety, functionality, and maintenance.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, Computer, or Electrical Engineering.
    • Sophomore standing or above.
    • Ability to work full-time during the co-op term.
    • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
