About the role#
This is a temporary 8-month co-op assignment running from January 2026 through August 2026. You will work on-site in Marshalltown, Iowa, as part of our manufacturing and automation team. This is a paid, full-time position for students currently enrolled in a degree program.
What you'll do#
- Assist in designing data architecture and organizing data from manufacturing and global service partners.
- Build and run automated routines for data collection, pre-processing, and integrity checks.
- Partner with research and data science teams to perform exploratory data analytics.
- Support multi-disciplinary agile teams as they develop and improve AI models.
- Create reports and metrics to help drive efficient initiatives.
- Document and present your progress and results to stakeholders.
- Contribute to planning and road mapping new features.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Practical experience using SQL and Python.
- Junior or Senior class standing.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages like C#, C++, or Java is a plus.
