About the role#
Dominion Energy is seeking an Electrical Engineering intern for the North Anna Power Station in Mineral, Virginia. This full-time internship takes place during the summer of 2027. You will work on-site to support the electrical and instrumentation and control design department.
What you'll do#
- Write technical documents to evaluate equipment failures and plant conditions.
- Analyze equipment performance trends and conduct field walkdowns.
- Develop minor design changes to improve station reliability.
- Assist with major design changes for long-term station improvements.
- Provide technical input to various station departments regarding equipment concerns.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering program at a four-year university.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- An anticipated graduation date of December 2028 or later.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
