About the role#
As an electrical engineering intern, you will apply knowledge from your college courses to support nuclear projects. You will report to the OEM Product Engineering Manager and work closely with other internal departments to gather information for your assignments. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform electrical system, instrumentation, and controls design, as well as system wiring.
- Complete tasks using software such as ETAP, Mathcad, and AutoCAD.
- Prepare engineering design documents, including calculations and specifications.
- Evaluate and select technical standards, procedures, and criteria for design work.
- Plan and schedule your tasks to meet project requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to obtain necessary project information.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program or higher in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.
- Completion of your sophomore year of college.

- Location: New Stanton, Pennsylvania.

- Compensation: $25.40 to $29.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
