About the role#
The Office of Alumnae/i Relations at Dominican University is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to help manage our visual identity. You will support our team by creating marketing materials for various events and programs throughout the 2025-2026 school year. This role reports to the Assistant Director of Alumnae/i Relations.
What you'll do#
- Design graphics for social media, email, web platforms, and print.
- Produce branded items like stickers, buttons, signage, and event collateral.
- Maintain visual consistency across all digital and print projects.
- Work with staff to plan and run marketing campaigns.
- Assist with design and logistics for major events.
- Attend team meetings and regular check-ins.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in graphic design software like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects.
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to share ideas.
- Current enrollment in a relevant major such as Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Art, or Media Studies.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in River Forest, Illinois.
- The role is paid at $15 per hour for up to 15 hours per week.
- Hiring is on a rolling basis for the 2025-2026 school year.
