About the role#
The Student Involvement Coordinator supports student engagement at Dominican University. You will help Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) succeed by providing resources, training, and guidance on university policies. This position focuses on creating co-curricular experiences that foster community and student development.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain resources, trainings, and tools to support RSO sustainability.
- Advise student leaders and RSO advisors on event planning, funding processes, and university policies.
- Manage student organization budgets and funding requests.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of department signature events.
- Supervise a team of Student Involvement Resource Center (SIRC) employees.
What you'll need#
- A Master’s degree in college student personnel, higher education, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in programming, event management, student life, or student development.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability for night and weekend work, up to 10 hours per month.
