About the role#
The Career Programs Office is hiring a Graduate Assistant to support career readiness assessment, data analysis, and reporting. You will work with data from career and vocation courses, student and alumni surveys, and career outcomes instruments to evaluate student engagement, program effectiveness, and post-graduation success.
What you'll do#
- Analyze, interpret, and report on career and vocation survey data.
- Review career readiness and outcomes information from students and alumni.
- Examine data related to career readiness competencies and program learning outcomes.
- Identify trends, patterns, and key findings across data sources.
- Create reports, tables, charts, and visualizations to communicate findings.
- Assist with survey administration, data collection, data cleaning, and documentation.
- Maintain data dictionaries and records to support consistent analysis.
- Translate assessment findings into insights that inform curriculum and programming.
- Support special projects within the Career Programs Office.
- Maintain the confidentiality of student and alumni information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a graduate student.
- Ability to work with, interpret, and communicate data.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Preferred experience includes coursework in data analytics, assessment, or research, and familiarity with tools such as Qualtrics, Tableau, or Power BI.

- Location: River Forest, Illinois.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $16 per hour.
- Commitment: 15 hours per week.
