About the role#
The Alumnae/i Relations Student Ambassador supports the University Advancement team at Dominican University. This position handles daily office operations, manages constituent data, and assists with university events. You will work on-site in River Forest, Illinois, from Fall 2026 through Spring 2027.
What you'll do#
- Answer alumnae/i inquiries via phone, email, and mail.
- Update and manage records in the University Advancement database.
- Research obituaries and track death notices for the university.
- Prepare large mailings and proof print materials.
- Greet office visitors and provide campus tours to alumnae/i.
- Assist with events like Reunion, Homecoming, and the Benefit.
- Help with administrative tasks such as filing and special projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time undergraduate student for the Fall 2026 through Spring 2027 semesters.
- Good conduct standing with the Dean of Students.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Discretion when handling confidential information.
- Flexibility to assist with occasional evening or weekend programs.
