About the role#
University Enterprises, Inc. is hiring a Student Assistant Graphic Design Intern to support design development and content production across various departments. You will work in a professional office environment to create high-quality materials that support our travel industry projects. This is a part-time, temporary position that offers a flexible schedule between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
What you'll do#
- Conceptualize and create design materials for print and digital projects.
- Build and edit PowerPoint presentations for meetings, conferences, and events.
- Produce visual content for websites, email newsletters, social media, and print.
- Handle pre-press production tasks, including compiling mailing lists and coordinating with print vendors.
- Manage the digital asset system by uploading new files and verifying copyright information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student at an institution on our affiliation list, majoring in Graphic Design or Communications.
- Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro.
- Experience with digital asset management systems, content management systems, and metadata.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Sacramento, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $16.90 to $18.00 per hour.
- Hours: Up to 24 hours per week during the academic year, with the potential for up to 40 hours during breaks.
- Requirement: You must reside in California and perform all work within the state.
