DigiPen Institute of Technology is seeking a Teaching Assistant for CG-391-A for the Fall 2026 term. This role supports the instructor in the classroom, facilitates student learning, and assists with administrative and grading tasks. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position based in Redmond, Washington.
What you'll do#
- Grade student work and provide constructive, clear feedback.
- Assist students during labs and scheduled office hours.
- Support the instructor with equipment setup, slide deck operation, and facilitating presentations.
- Manage administrative tasks including uploading grades to Moodle and submitting attendance sheets.
- Track and report hours worked accurately.
- Meet weekly with the instructor for performance feedback.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Successful completion of CG-391 (with a grade of B or better preferred).
- Proven proficiency with course material and familiarity with Unreal Engine 5.
- Comfort with multiple aspects of digital lighting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide professional critique.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to student success.
- Ability to work independently.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington (on-site work required).
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 31 – December 4, 2026).
- Hours: Approximately 6 hours per week.
- Eligibility: Must reside in Washington state. Students may not work during scheduled class times.
- Academic Requirements: Good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Academic waivers may be available for candidates who do not meet all specific requirements.
