About the role#
This position is for a Teaching Assistant for course CG-391-A during the Fall 2027 term. The role involves supporting the instructor in the classroom, assisting with equipment setup, facilitating presentations, and providing mentorship to students. TAs work closely with the instructor to ensure consistent grading and clear communication of feedback.
What you'll do#
- Grade student assignments and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist students during labs and published office hours.
- Ensure timely delivery of graded reports and maintain consistency in grading standards.
- Upload grades and manage attendance documentation.
- Track and report hours worked accurately.
- Meet weekly with the instructor for performance feedback.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Successful completion of CG-391.
- Proven proficiency with the course material and familiarity with Unreal Engine 5.
- Comfort with multiple aspects of digital lighting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide professional critiques.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to helping fellow students succeed.
- Ability to work independently.
