About the role#
The Student Government Executive serves as a member of the DSU Executive Board. This role acts as a guiding body for the student union, representing the student body and managing requests, proposals, and announcements. Executives work to preserve the functionality of the DSU and ensure that student interests are represented to the administration.
What you'll do#
- Act in the best interest of the student body and fulfill the goals of the DSU.
- Support recruitment and advertising efforts for General Assembly meetings and elections.
- Complete transition documentation for incoming officers before the end of the semester.
- Enforce the DSU Constitution and By-Laws.
- Manage respective events in the DSU portion of the Campus Groups app.
- Attend General Assembly and Executive Board meetings, hold office hours, and meet regularly with the advisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Good Academic Standing and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Ability to work 5 hours per week, excluding time spent in scheduled classes.
- Capability to fulfill the specific responsibilities outlined in the DSU Bylaws.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Redmond, Washington, and requires on-site work.
- The term for this role is Fall 2026, with expected employment dates from August 24 to December 18, 2026.
- This is a paid, part-time position.
