About the role#
The International Student Affairs (ISA) department is looking for a student assistant to help organize and lead campus events for the Fall and Spring semesters. You will report to the AVP of ISA and work with the ISA Coordinator to support international student connection and well-being. This position requires 5-10 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Plan, organize, and facilitate student-focused events such as the welcome party, Lunar New Year, and Thanksgiving gatherings.
- Purchase and track materials needed for these events.
- Promote upcoming activities using flyers, email, and campus groups.
- Collaborate with ISA staff and student clubs to cross-advertise events.
- Refer students to campus support services like counseling or housing when necessary.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Eligibility for Federal Work Study with an accepted award.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience or interest in working with diverse cultures and cross-cultural communication.
- Basic design skills with familiarity in Photoshop, Publisher, or Canva.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work well in a team.

- This is a paid, part-time position open to students in Communications, International Relations, Graphic Design, Business Administration, or Anthropology.
