About the role#
Bytes Cafe and Lounge is hiring a student team member to help provide food service and maintain a welcoming space for our campus community. This is a part-time position with a pay rate of $17.25 per hour. You will work up to 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Serve hot food to staff and fellow students.
- Keep the food line and student store clean and organized.
- Process customer orders using POS terminals.
- Restock the store with snacks, drinks, and other items.
- Greet guests and provide friendly customer service.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and be in good academic standing.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- A Washington state food handler's card, or the ability to obtain one within your first week of work.
- No prior experience is required, as we provide all necessary training.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Redmond, Washington, and requires on-site work.
- Employment dates run from August 31, 2026, through August 27, 2027.
- We provide uniforms, PPE, and one meal per shift.
- DigiPen covers the cost of your food handler's card.
