About the role#
As a Logistics Intern, you will work on-site to improve warehouse, receiving, and shipping processes. You will contribute to projects that enhance efficiency and safety while gaining experience in a global manufacturing environment. This is a paid, full-time, rolling internship.
What you'll do#
- Analyze warehouse, receiving, and shipping workflows to identify waste and improvement opportunities.
- Develop current and future state value stream maps to support data-driven logistics decisions.
- Support continuous improvement projects, including time studies, process balancing, and 5S implementation.
- Document logistics processes to ensure consistency and scalability in line with quality standards.
- Validate materials and spare part kits against bills of materials to improve accuracy and reliability.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (senior year) or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to analyze processes and translate findings into practical improvement recommendations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP.
- AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to commit to the program for at least one year.
