About the role#
As an Electrical Engineer Intern at Danfoss, you will support the laboratory systems that facilitate product testing and development. You will work alongside engineers and technicians to ensure reliable data collection and the smooth operation of engineering equipment. This role involves hands-on experience with electrical controls, instrumentation, and maintenance processes.
What you'll do#
- Support the design, maintenance, and documentation of laboratory electrical control systems, including updating technical records and drawings.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain instrumentation and data acquisition systems to ensure high-quality test data.
- Manage equipment records, calibration schedules, and preventive maintenance plans using the CMMS.
- Assist with equipment inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting alongside controls specialists.
- Maintain a safe and efficient laboratory environment by adhering to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- Foundational knowledge of electrical control systems, industrial test equipment, and engineering measurements.
- Understanding of analog sensor signals (4-20 mA, 1-5 V), data acquisition concepts, and test system fundamentals.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and learn new technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
