About the role#
Join our engineering team to help shape centrifugal compressor technology. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting the design, analysis, testing, and validation of products used in industrial applications. You will work alongside experienced engineers on sustaining engineering initiatives to influence product performance and reliability.
What you'll do#
- Create and update 3D models and 2D engineering drawings for product enhancements.
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) to evaluate component strength and design improvements.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to support prototype builds, testing, and design validation.
- Prepare test reports, engineering documentation, and data summaries to support design decisions.
- Review bills of materials and assist with the design and evaluation of manufacturing tooling.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling software, preferably CATIA or Siemens NX.
- Familiarity with FEA tools, with ANSYS Mechanical preferred.
- Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills.
