About the role#
Operations Interns at The Boring Company take on significant responsibility and are expected to own their projects. Interns work across various departments including Business and Project Development, Purchasing, Accounting and Finance, Operations, and Corporate Affairs. This is a paid, on-site internship program for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Identify, track, and pursue project leads to support project development.
- Prepare proposals and marketing materials.
- Analyze supplier and spend data while communicating with suppliers to purchase goods and services.
- Facilitate invoice processing, daily reconciliation of transactions, and monthly close processes.
- Support budget tracking, management, and spend analysis to generate business insights.
- Act as a liaison between management and team members to coordinate scheduling for construction and facilities projects.
- Conduct research on business and legal issues and support the deal-making process from structuring to contract negotiation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Business Administration, Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Logistics, Accounting, or Finance.
- Experience in engineering, logistics, construction, real estate, or business development.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously.
- Superior organizational skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to act with urgency and communicate clearly.
