About the role#
This paid internship provides exposure to various HR functions including recruiting, employee relations, training, safety, workers' compensation, benefits, compensation, and payroll. You will work on-site in Bastrop, Texas, during the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Source passive candidates using search engines, job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, and social channels.
- Review resumes and reach out to potential candidates.
- Schedule phone and follow-up interviews.
- Action interview requests from hiring managers and recruiters.
- Greet candidates onsite and ensure interview schedules are maintained.
- Prepare hiring managers for upcoming interviews.
- Maintain a tracker of weekly interviewer data.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a 4-year Bachelor's or Master's program.
- Understanding of legal guidelines and compliance related to employment.
- Ability to work independently with little direction.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks quickly.
- Strong sense of urgency.
