Operations Internships - Fall 2026

About the role#

Operations Interns at The Boring Company are expected to take ownership of their projects, working with the same level of responsibility as regular employees. This role focuses on contributing to the goal of revolutionizing transportation through support across various departments, including Recruiting, Business and Project Development, Purchasing, Accounting and Finance, Operations, and Corporate Affairs.

What you'll do#

• Source candidates and coordinate interviews while maintaining communication between stakeholders.
• Support project development by identifying, tracking, and pursuing project leads.
• Analyze supplier and spend data and communicate directly with suppliers.
• Facilitate invoice processing and perform daily reconciliation of transactions.
• Conduct research on a wide range of business and legal issues.
• Assist with the preparation of proposals, marketing materials, and budget tracking.
• Act as a liaison between management and team members for construction and facilities project coordination.

What you'll need#

• Completed or pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or Logistics.
• Experience in engineering, logistics, construction, real estate, or business development.
• Experience supporting a team in a start-up environment.
• Superior organizational skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously.
• Initiative in resolving problems and an independent, energetic approach to work.
