About the role#
This is a full-time, 6-month co-op position supporting the Global Trade Compliance team at ITT Inc. You will gain hands-on experience in a global manufacturing environment by using data analytics to support international trade operations, compliance initiatives, and business performance. This role involves working across Trade Compliance, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and IT departments to drive data-informed decision-making.
What you'll do#
- Analyze trade compliance and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and data visualization tools to support business decisions.
- Support data collection, validation, and cleansing activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects related to trade compliance, supply chain, and operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency, automation, and reporting capabilities.
- Assist with import and export compliance processes, documentation, audits, and recordkeeping.
- Document business processes and maintain standard operating procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or recent completion of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, International Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Advanced skills in Power BI and SAP, including data modeling, dashboard development, and report creation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in Power Query or SQL considered a plus.
- Ability to analyze, manipulate, and interpret large datasets to provide actionable business recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
