About the role#
As an iProd Design Center Engineering Co-op, you will gain hands-on experience in the design and manufacturing of high-specification industrial pumps. You will work alongside mechanical engineering and design professionals who provide mentorship throughout your rotation. This is a full-time, paid position based in Seneca Falls, New York.
What you'll do#
- Participate in pump design tasks, including mechanical calculations and FEA.
- Work in the R&D Test Lab to assist with the assembly and disassembly of pumps.
- Plot and analyze test data.
- Analyze inspection reports and perform scan comparisons of cast and machined parts.
- Generate new pump curves and update existing ones.
- Update product models and drawings.
- Prepare technical documentation as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a similar field.
- Completion of at least 2 years of related college coursework.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Experience with 3D modeling.
- FEA experience is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
