About the role#
This is an 11-week summer internship based in Waller, Texas. You will join our team to work on manufacturing processes, product design changes, and quality initiatives. You will handle individual projects and collaborate with other interns on group assignments while networking across different functions within the company.
What you'll do#
- Review engineering changes to HVAC product designs using mechanical engineering principles.
- Develop and manage project schedules for product launches and design modifications.
- Process design requests by reviewing bills of materials, drawings, and engineering change requests.
- Solve product-related issues through root cause analysis and develop engineering solutions.
- Provide support in a high volume manufacturing environment.
- Participate on cross-functional teams to launch products and support improvements.
- Assist with pilot runs and issue resolution during product launches.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering degree program.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
