About the role#
Daikin U.S. Corporation offers an 11-week summer internship program focused on mentorship and hands-on experience. As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will work on an individual project with your team and collaborate with other interns on a group project. You will also participate in networking and team-building activities.
What you'll do#
- Track and communicate the status of product launches and performance using established metrics.
- Lead Development Quality Improvement and Warranty Monitoring reporting for new product launches.
- Oversee and drive corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and reliability departments to ensure changes are qualified before implementation.
- Support production operations and ensure adherence to quality systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, or Electrical Engineering degree program.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must not require sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
