    About the role#

    Daikin U.S. Corporation offers an 11-week summer internship program for students. You will join a team to work on an individual project while also collaborating with other interns on a group initiative. This role involves analyzing supply chain, transportation, and distribution networks to help reduce freight costs and improve delivery times. You will manage deployment planning across multiple regions and support inventory levels for a wide range of products.

    What you'll do#

    • Extract data and generate reports to track performance and support decision-making.
    • Review manufacturing and logistics processes to create distribution and stocking plans.
    • Conduct research to address customer requests and data needs.
    • Support solutions across inventory planning, warehouse operations, customer service, and product procurement.
    • Maintain system data sets for products, customers, and processes to support ERP and Deployment Systems.
    • Create dashboards and analyses based on current organizational needs.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
    • Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
    • At least 18 years of age.
    • Must not require sponsorship now or in the future.
