About the role#
Hose Master LLC is hiring an Engineer Intern for a full-time, on-site position in Euclid, Ohio. This is a paid internship. You will work with a mentoring engineer to design, manufacture, and test products using 3-D software and lab tools. You will assist manufacturing engineers with custom designs and handle machine or process design projects on your own.
What you'll do#
- Prepare technical drawings.
- Determine labor estimates for projects.
- Run prototype parts through the manufacturing process.
- Design components as needed.
- Work on tasks related to large-scale engineering projects.
- Complete small-scale engineering projects independently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Working towards a technical engineering degree, preferably a BSME or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- Experience with CAD software, preferably a 3-D package.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Strong math and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift 50lbs, walk up to a quarter mile, and bend, squat, or reach as needed.
