About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team to support patient health. You will operate under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe work environment and provide quality care. This role involves managing patient care programs and maintaining pharmacy standards.
What you'll do#
- Lead with heart by showing empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Manage customer care programs to help keep patients healthy.
- Maintain pharmacy regulatory compliance and ensure patient safety.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring and enthusiasm.
- Assist with inventory management and pharmacy workflow.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
