About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will help manage patient care programs and ensure a safe, effective retail pharmacy environment. This is a part-time, on-site role with a pay range of $20.00 to $23.75 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Deliver exceptional care to every patient.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Collaborate with others to seek new ways to grow and deliver better outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and effective pharmacy work environment, including inventory and workflow management.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
