About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support our retail pharmacy operations. You will play a part in patient care, ensuring a safe work environment, and managing pharmacy programs. This role is designed to help you gain professional experience while contributing to our patient care goals.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to each patient with empathy and compassion.
- Maintain a safe and effective pharmacy work environment.
- Manage patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring and enthusiasm.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver positive health outcomes.
- Complete all required training and obtain necessary licensure within state guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and reaching.
