About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering care to patients while managing daily pharmacy operations and inventory. You will be part of a team that helps patients manage their health through prescription services and patient care programs.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to every patient with empathy and compassion.
- Ensure patient safety through diligent practice and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and workflow to keep the environment running smoothly.
- Collaborate with the team to improve patient outcomes and support pharmacy programs.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and reach or stoop to handle items.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
