About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of our retail pharmacy. This role focuses on patient care, safety, and maintaining an effective work environment. You will gain professional experience while contributing to our pharmacy team.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to each patient with empathy and compassion.
- Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy work environment.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, and pride.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Assist with patient care programs, inventory management, and workflow.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and reaching.
