About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide patient care in a retail pharmacy setting. You will help manage pharmacy operations, ensure safety, and support the team in delivering quality care to patients. This is a part-time position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Deliver patient care and support pharmacy services.
- Maintain safety standards and quality assurance protocols.
- Manage pharmacy workflow, excluding final prescription verification.
- Foster a team culture that encourages energy, enthusiasm, and care.
- Align team members around the purpose of healthcare.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.

- This role is based in Bowie, Maryland.
- The work is on-site.
