About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of a retail pharmacy. You will focus on patient care programs, inventory management, and workflow efficiency while maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff. This is a part-time, paid position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Manage patient care programs and assist with pharmacy professional practice.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
- Lead with empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Promote a team culture centered on caring and enthusiasm.
- Perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and using finger dexterity for typing and handling items.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or the ability to obtain it.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state-mandated timeframes.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
